Volunteer Waiver

I acknowledge that volunteering with animals carries inherent risks, including potential injury, illness, harm, or other unforeseen incidents. By signing this waiver, I fully understand and accept these risks.

I, the undersigned (hereinafter referred to as “Volunteer”), on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release and hold harmless Pawsitivity Rescue Inc, a nonprofit organization, along with its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, affiliates, and any other associated individuals or entities (hereinafter referred to as “Organization”), from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from my participation in volunteer activities.

I understand that my volunteer work may involve handling, feeding, cleaning, and caring for animals, which may pose risks such as bites, scratches, allergic reactions, zoonotic diseases, or other injuries. I accept full responsibility for my actions and agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the Organization.

I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age. If I am under 18, I understand that a parent or legal guardian must also sign this waiver to grant permission for my participation. My parent or guardian acknowledges the risks involved and agrees to the terms outlined in this waiver.

By signing below, I affirm that I have read and understood this document. I agree to abide by its terms and release the Organization from any responsibility for injuries or damages that may occur while volunteering. I understand that this agreement is binding and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
